HEWLETT PACKARD (HP): Understanding the Potential and Impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution on Education


Short Synopsis: Over the next 10 years, next-generation technologies will rapidly and radically change our economy and ways of life. Elliott Levine, HP Director of Education and Mike Belcher, Dir. Of EdTech Innovation for HP, will lead attendees through a fast-paced review of Artificial Intelligence, eXtended Reality, eSports, 3D printing and immersive computing and how HP believes these new technologies will impact economies as well as instruction and learning as we know it.


CREATIVE LEARNING SYSTEMS (CLS): Integrating Problem-Based Learning, STEM, and Next Generation Skills Development


Short Synopsis: Creating a cognitively engaging learning environment is a challenge in every classroom. Magnet School Administrators will share how they navigated the process of developing their STEM programs from idea to an engaging student center. In addition, school personnel will show how their customized STEM program provides engaging, problem-based learning for all students of all ages and abilities differentiating them from other schools. Students in these specific STEM programs choose hands-on projects covering robotics, circuitry, computer graphics, scientific data and analysis, digital communications, sustainability, and software engineering allowing them taking ownership of their learning thus developing Next Generation Skills. This session will cover:

  • How a comprehensive STEM Program Works
  • How the Program has influenced the School and Community
  • Student Success Stories
  • Hands-on STEM lab experience for all attendees


You must be registered for the conference to attend the complimentary pre-conference.  A pre-conference registration link will be shared with registered attendees Friday, February 22, 2019.  Seats are based on first-come, first-serve.
