TOUR 20

TOWSON HIGH

TOWSON HIGH (9-12)

The Law & Public Policy program uses topics and skills in law and public policy to develop strong communication, writing, and presentation skills for the highly able college-bound student.  Course work is student-centered with an emphasis on the use of technology and student research as an integral part of instruction.  The curriculum is designed to develop effective global citizenship and an appreciation for the principles and values upon which the law, legal processes, and the legal system are based; both in the U.S. and internationally.  The program focuses on unique academic coursework, leadership opportunities, real world experiences to enhance classroom instruction, and extracurricular application of skills and knowledge.  Students participate in field trip experiences, internships, and job shadowing opportunities in law and public policy professions.
