Creating a cognitively engaging learning environment is a challenge in every classroom. Magnet School Administrators will share how they navigated the process of developing their STEM programs from idea to an engaging student center. In addition, school personnel will show how their customized STEM program provides engaging, problem-based learning for all students of all ages and abilities differentiating them from other schools. Students in these specific STEM programs choose hands-on projects covering robotics, circuitry, computer graphics, scientific data and analysis, digital communications, sustainability, and software engineering allowing them taking ownership of their learning thus developing Next Generation Skills. This session will cover:

  • How the Program has influenced the School and Community
  • Student Success Stories
  • Hands-on STEM lab experience for all attendees
